Maternity Mini

Often, when you already have a child and are expecting a second or third little one, I'll suggest a mini-maternity session. The reason I usually try to lead my clients in this direction is for a few reasons:

1. Because when siblings are involved (usually young in age) they don't have a super long attention span....and these sessions shouldn't be stressful!

2. Although, I know you'll treasure the images from the maternity session, really you'll only need a handful to just remember/capture the special time, after baby arrives you'll be more incline to frame/display images with your entire crew!

This family is one of my very favorites to photograph--they chose the mini-maternity options for both of the reason above and it turned out perfectly! Im pretty partial to the "soon-to-be" BIG brother in this family....we're pretty good buddies!! He is a ham and has SO much personality!!

Mini Maternity Sessions are only an option for my booked newborn clients...and honestly, I always tell people if you have to choose between maternity and newborn....ALWAYS chose newborn!

Enjoy a few more from this precious session! Im playing catch up on the blog so you'll be seeing this family soon with their new little guy for their lifestyle newborn session!!

Let me know if you have any questions....or better yet if you are expecting and need schedule your newborn and mini-maternity session reach out--I'd love to see if I am a good fit for your family!

Your closet—start there!! I always recommend starting with one person: typically it’s Mom and/or the little girl in the family. This tends to work well because Mom needs to be confident in what she is
